KWord Templates

This package contains 7 KWord templates: InterofficeMemo.kwt, PayrollMasterRecordForm.kwt, Resume.kwt, SimpleLayout.kwt, Memo.kwt, Questionnaire.kwt and ShortLetter.kwt.

Installation:

For a system wide installation (the templates will be available to all users on the system):

tar xvzf templates.tar.gz
cp -a Additional $KDEDIR/share/apps/kword/templates

For a single user installation:

tar xvzf templates.tar.gz
cp -a Additional `kde-config --localprefix`share/apps/kword/templates

In subsequent versions of KOffice we are going to provide more templates with the main program, and provide an easier method for installation of additional templates.

KPresenter Templates

See here on how to get 2 additional templates for KPresenter.

kde-files.org templates

You can find additional templates for KOffice applications at kde-files.org. You download these templates and put them in your home directory for example.

You are encouraged to share your own templates and upload them on kde-files.org. Many thanks in advance!

Thesauri

KOffice only includes an English language thesaurus by default. Thesaurus files for other languages can be downloaded at the following sites:

• German thesaurus at www.openthesaurus.de

Installation:

Unpack the file and copy it to $KDEDIR/share/apps/thesaurus/ (you can use any other directory, but this is where the English thesaurus called thesaurus.txt is). You can use the Change language button in KThesaurus to select the thesaurus file.

Clip Art

Several KOffice applications allow you to insert images into your documents. An extensive collection of scalable clip art files that are free for any use and which are compatible with KOffice is available for download at the following site:
